Knowledge Sharing Contribution to Project Risk Management: a Study in the Software Industry

Resumen

A study was conducted in the aim to identify whether and how knowledge sharing contributes, through instruments and behavioral aspects, to risk management. Initially, as the literature review was carried out, it was identified, on one hand, the main instruments and behavioral aspects that facilitate knowledge sharing and, on the other hand, the different approaches to risk management in software projects. Following that, the relationship between these two themes was established. Then, based on a case study in the software industry, an analysis was carried out and applied to the development teams, aiming at understanding and perceiving what risk management activities are practiced in software projects, the behavioral factors that may favorably influence knowledge sharing on software projects risks and what instruments of knowledge sharing may contribute, at a certain degree, to risk management in projects.

Yóris Linhares Souza

Yóris Linhares de Souza é mestre em Administração de Empresas pelas Faculdades Pedro Leopoldo (2007), especialista em Sistemas de Gestão de Empresas pelo IEC/MG (2000) e graduado em Ciência da Computação pela PUC/MG (1995). Com experiência em análise de sistemas e gestão de projetos em diversas empresas de tecnologia da informação e como professor em instituições de ensino. Atualmente leciona na graduação de Sistemas de Informação da Faculdade Cotemig - MG, pós-graduação na UNA – MG e trabalha como analista de sistemas no SERPRO.

Maria Celeste Reis Lobo Vasconcelos

Possui graduação em Engenharia Química pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1973), mestrado em Ciências Técnicas Nucleares pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1980), doutorado em Ciência da Informação pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2000) e pos doutorado no Center for Research in Innovation Management - CENTRIM, Universidade de Brighton, na Inglaterra. É professora titular do Mestrado Profissional em Administração da Faculdade de Ciências Humanas de Pedro Leopoldo. Tem experiência na área de Gestão, com ênfase em Gestão do Conhecimento e da Inovação, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: gestão da informação e do conhecimento, gestão de competencias, aprendizagem organizacional e gestão educacional.

Valéria Maria Martins Judice

PhD. em Políticas de Ciência e Tecnologia (SPRU, University of Sussex, UK, 1997), mestre em Sociologia (PIMES-UFPE, 1992), especialista em Teoria Econômica (CEDEPLAR- UFMG, 1981) e bacharel em Economia (FACE-UFMG, 1979). É professora e pesquisadora do Mestrado Acadêmico em Administração da Faculdade Novos Horizontes; pesquisadora do Núcleo de Empreendedorismo da Fundação Dom Cabral; pesquisadora colaboradora da REDESIST-IEI-UFRJ e da Sociedade Mineira do Software, FUMSOFT. Atualmente é revisora das seguintes publicações: Revista de Administração Contemporânea - RAC; Revista de Administração de Empresas (FGV); Revista Economia e Gestão - PUC-MG; Revista de Ciências da Administração da UFSC. Tem atuado em Empreendedorismo e Inovação, principalmente nos seguintes temas: Empreendedorismo Corporativo e Tecnológico, Sistemas de Inovação, Biotecnologia e Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TICs), Economia da Cultura (Indústria Criativa, Artes, Entretenimento).

George Leal Jamil

Possui graduação em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1982), Mestrado em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1999) e doutorado em Ciência da Informação pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2005). Atualmente é professor adjunto da Fundação Mineira de Educação e Cultura - FUMEC/BH , visitante de várias instituições, como professor de pós graduação lato sensu, entre elas: Fundação Cultural Dr. Pedro Leopoldo, Centro Universitário UNA, Fundação João Pinheiro, Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais e Faculdade IBMEC - MG. Tem experiência na área de Ciência da Computação e Gestão Estratégica de Empresas, com ênfase em Engenharia de Software, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: ciência da computação, engenharia de software, sistemas de informação, informática, processo de software, gestão estratégica e de marketing. Autor de doze livros nas áreas de Desenvolvimento de software, Tecnologia da Informação, planejamento estratégico, gestão do conhecimento e Marketing. Consultor empresarial nas áreas de software, tecnologia da informação e planejamento estratégico. Atualmente pesquisa temas ligados à gestão de sistemas de informação, estratégia, gestão do conhecimento e aplicação de tecnologia da informação em contextos empresariais.
