Hajar Lmortaji is a multifaceted Moroccan artist and scholar. She is a professional painter specializing in abstract expressionism, a passion she discovered at the age of 12. She exhibited her art in prestigious galleries in Morocco and Portugal.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Hajar is deeply involved in academia. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Educational Sciences and Technologies at the Institute of Education-University of Lisbon and Mohammed the 5th University in Rabat. Her research focuses on innovative educational practices and in-service teacher training for the the integration of technology in learning environments. Hajar has contributed significantly to the field of linguistics and cultural studies. She was responsible for the Arabic translation of the ATLAS of the Portuguese Language, an important work that helps bridge cultural and linguistic gaps. Her academic work includes published research articles, and she has presented her findings at various international conferences. Besides her scholarly and artistic achievements, Hajar is also a dedicated educator, teaching Portuguese and engaging in educational initiatives. Her diverse talents and contributions make her a prominent figure in both the art and academic worlds.
